Who We Are
We are passionate about using the good things God has given us and growing nutritious, healthy food... about providing a healthy, responsible, sustainable option to the insanity of factory farming.
Our very small herd of Red Angus cattle leads a contented, stress free life with lots of green forage, fresh water and sunshine. They are allowed to grow at a natural rate with no hormones ever. With that kind of a stress free life, disease is rarely a problem. If we do run into any kind of problem they are treated with homeopathic methods, no antibiotics are ever used.
Our laying hens and meat birds live the same lifestyle, true free range birds with all day access to pasture, insects, fresh water and sunbathing. The eggs have a deep yellow yolk, loaded with omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin E and carotenes.
We offer a CSA ( community supported agriculture ) for up to 15 families supplying a wide array of organically grown vegetables from early spring greens until late October squash and pumpkins. We will be playing with some different ideas for our greenhouse to get even earlier production, perhaps even an early winter supply of freshness.
